When Personal Growth Starts to Feel Like Another Full-Time Job
For a long time, many of us have been told that transformation comes from doing more.
More meditation.
More journalling.
More courses.
More healing practices.
If you’re interested in personal growth, manifestation, or working with a mindset coach or manifestation coach, you’ve probably explored at least some of these tools. Many of them are incredibly helpful.
But there’s something I’ve been noticing both in my own journey and in the people I work with.
At some point, the process of healing can quietly turn into another source of pressure.
Instead of feeling lighter, people begin to feel overwhelmed.
They feel like they’re not doing enough.
Not healing fast enough.
Not clearing their subconscious blocks quickly enough.
So they add more practices.
Another technique.
Another book.
Another strategy.
Ironically, this can sometimes keep people stuck in the very fear-based patterns they’re trying to move beyond.
When Growth Becomes Overwhelm
The personal development world is full of incredible tools, but it can also feel like a buffet of endless options.
Meditation techniques.
Manifestation practices.
Breathwork.
Energy work.
Somatic work.
Journalling prompts.
The question many people quietly ask themselves is:
Which one is the right one?
The truth is that real change doesn’t always come from adding more practices.
Very often it begins in the micro-moments of everyday life.
Those small moments shape your nervous system, your energy, and ultimately the life you create.
Sometimes Less Really Is More
One of the most powerful shifts in manifestation and personal growth is recognising that insight alone isn’t enough.
Awareness opens the door, but change happens in the small choices we make afterwards.
In the latest episode of the podcast, I explore this idea in a much deeper way. We talk about:
The self-improvement trap and why so many people feel exhausted by growth
How healing practices can sometimes become a form of spiritual bypassing
Why insight alone doesn’t dissolve manifestation blocks
The small daily moments that quietly shape your future
If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by the world of personal development, this episode might offer a refreshing perspective.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do for your growth isn’t adding another practice.
It’s slowing down enough to let the work you’ve already done begin to take root.
